Valentine’s Day is celebrated annually throughout the world on February 14th as a day of Love. Originating as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early saints named Valentinus. However, today the tradition of Valentine’s day has changed. Now, on Valentine’s day, lovers and friends exchange candy, flowers, and gifts between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. Approximately 150 million Valentine’s Day cards are exchanged annually, making Valentine’s Day the second most popular card-sending holiday after Christmas. To make Valentine’s Day a successful one, you should show compassion to your loved ones. Events that you can do on Valentine’s Day in Woodlake or Visalia are going out to dinner, watching a movie, or even taking your date dancing. Of all days out of the year, show your loved ones some love, especially on this special holiday. Make someone feel special.
